Women of Surfing began as a simple photography project, focused on capturing the essence and individuality of female surfers in my local community with the aim to showcase the amazing talent and strength of the women I was lucky to be surrounded by. It started in 2021 (see the first profiles on the Women of Surfing instagram) and over time, it has evolved into something much greater vision to create an international directory of female surfers of all ages, all cultures and all levels where they can shine and connect with one and other.

Through the power of photography, I want to bring the focus on the diversity, the strength and the talent of the global female surfing community.

The mission

Women of Surfing is on a mission to become an international platform for female surfers that promotes women led businesses in the surfing industry, inspires surfers from all over the planet and increases equality.

The vision

The vision for Women of Surfing is to establish a powerful and influential international platform for female surfers, both online and through in person events . It seeks to empower athletes, entrepreneurs, and surfers alike by facilitating connections, fostering growth, and enabling each member and visitor to achieve their personal and professional aspirations more effortlessly.
