hi, I'm Rachael,

A brand and fashion photographer based in Playa Negra, Guanacaste. I've been living and working in Costa Rica for ten years, and this place, its light, its coastline, its pace, is in everything I shoot.

I work with brands and entrepreneurs who are ready for visuals that reflect the quality of what they've built. My clients range from independent swimwear and jewellery brands to wellness businesses and retreat leaders across Guanacaste and beyond. What they have in common is that they care deeply about how they show up, and they want a photographer who cares just as much.

I. Let's Connect.

Reach out and we'll get on a call, usually fifteen to thirty minutes. I want to understand your brand, your vision, and what you're trying to create. No pressure, just a conversation.

II. The Proposal.

Based on our call I put together a custom proposal tailored to your project. We discuss, adjust, and once you're happy we sign the contract and get to work.

III. Pre-Production.

IV. Shoot Day.

V. Your Images.

VI. What's Next.

This is where the shoot takes shape. Together we build the mood board, define the shot list, confirm locations and models, and lock in every detail. You don't need to have it all figured out. That's what this stage is for.

We shoot. You can be there in person or send your products from afar, either works. After we wrap, we share a coffee. That part is non-negotiable.

You receive a first look through a live gallery to select and comment. Final images are delivered in high resolution through a private gallery, ready to use across your platforms.

After delivery we check in. If the work feels right and the momentum is there, we talk about what an ongoing relationship could look like. Consistent imagery, regular shoots, content that grows with your brand. A lot of my best client relationships started with one shoot.

I take the time to understand what you're building, I show up prepared, and I don't consider the job done until the images feel right.
